After you land on our website and start browsing through the pages, we may further collect your name, email address and website URL only if you fill up forms such as a comment form or feedback form or contact form. We don’t collect any sensitive information other than that.
The details that we collect from you (email, IP address, etc.) are kept confidential in our system. We do not display your e-mail address publicly. Also, we do not share, redistribute or make commercial deals with any person, individual, organization or third-party website/owner regarding the data collected from our visitors to maintain privacy. Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
We use ‘Google Analytics’, a third party vendor for us to track the performance of our site and visitor statics such as the amount of visitors, time spent by visitors on our site, landing pages, etc.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Caching and Akismet
We utilize caching plugins in order to facilitate a faster response time and better user experience. This basically stores a duplicate copy of every web page that is on display on this site. All cache files are temporary and are never accessed by any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the developers. Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator, but may easily be purged by the admin before their natural expiration, if necessary. We collect information about visitors who comment on our site through the Akismet anti-spam services plugin.
How we protect your data
We implement the best security measures to keep your privacy and personal information confidential with us. We do not disclose your personally identifiable information to any third party or person or whatsoever in any circumstances unless requested by the government or law in written format for security reasons only.
We use ‘Akismet Anti-Spam’ services to fight against spam via comments on our site. We reserve the right to edit, delete or modify comments submitted to our site. Comments are held in moderation by an administrator before publishing to make site spam free. Any comment posted on our site is more likely to be marked as spam if the comment :
- contains promotional or business name of the author instead of using a real name (for example, name of a product, visit this website, etc.)
- contains more than one link unless it is necessary
- contains hate speech attacking an individual, community or religion directly. Such user will be directly banned without any further notice.
- contains language that are offensive, abusive, threatening, harassment, pornographic related, misleading or libelous language.
Submitting spam comments to our site will be automatically detected by our system and sent to spam queue that eventually leads to IP ban of such user. Therefore we kindly request you to stay away from posting spam comments when using our site.
